    This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data in compliance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

    2. What Data We Collect

    We primarily collect:

    • Name, business name, job title
    • Email address
    • Website URL and monthly marketing spend range (enquiry form)
    • Website usage data (cookies, IP address, browser type)
    • Communication records (emails)
    • Error and session-replay data via Sentry (text masked, media blocked) when an error occurs

    Once we commence trading, we will additionally collect, as required to deliver services:

    • Phone number
    • Website and marketing platform access credentials (stored securely)
    • Analytics data from GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business Profile
    • Call notes and service delivery records

    3. How We Use Your Data

    We use personal data to:

    • Respond to enquiries and send service updates
    • Respond to enquiries
    • Improve our services and website
    • Once trading commences: deliver agreed services, generate reports, manage invoices, and communicate about your account

    4. Legal Basis for Processing

    • Consent: Enquiry form submissions and marketing communications
    • Legitimate interest: Responding to enquiries, service improvement
    • Contract: (Once trading commences) processing necessary to perform services
    • Legal obligation: Financial records, tax compliance

    5. Data Sharing

    We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the sub-processors required to run our website and (once trading) deliver our services:

    • Supabase (database and email functions, EU region)
    • Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, web analytics, bot protection)
    • Sentry (error monitoring, hosted in Germany)
    • Google Tag Manager / GA4 (analytics, only with your consent)
    • Zoho Mail (email correspondence)

    Once trading commences, we will additionally share data with platforms required to deliver agreed services (Google, Meta) and will sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with every client where we process personal data on their behalf, in line with UK GDPR Article 28.

    6. Google User Data

    Dashient accesses data from Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile via Google APIs, using read-only access granted by you, solely to generate your lead-attribution dashboard and reports. This data is stored encrypted, is never sold, and is not used for advertising or shared except to provide the service. Dashient's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

    7. International Data Transfers

    Some third-party platforms we use, including Google, Meta, and our email and hosting providers, may process personal data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR Article 46, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), adequacy decisions, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

    8. Data Retention

    Enquiry data is retained for 12 months, or until you request deletion, whichever is sooner. Client data is retained for the duration of our engagement plus 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g., financial records for 6 years under HMRC requirements).

    Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

    • Request erasure of your data
    • Restrict processing
